I’m setting up an RGB LED strip on my bedroom walls and want it to blink to the rhythm of music at night using a TIP31C transistor. However, the current seems weak, so I found a 2N2222 transistor for current amplification. Would this transistor help if I connected it?

Pozdrav, trebao bih malu pomoć. Ovako, slažem si u sobi RGB led traku na zidovima, ali da mi blinkaju uz ritam muzike uz ponoć tranzistora TIP31C. Our recommendation is to use a Croduino with a sound detector. However, you can try looking up a circuit with LM833 or LM385 and MOSFETs. Be aware that a problem may occur with the strip’s brightness, and the sound will likely be altered. One idea is to use an audio jack splitter, so one end goes to the LED strip and the other to speakers, to keep the sound clean. Check whether it’s worth complicating things so much (for each color of the RGB strip you need to build such a circuit).

naša preporuka je svakako raditi s Croduinom i detektorom zvuka.
Međutim, probajte izguglati strujni krug s LM833 ili LM385 i mosfetima. I ovdje se može problem pojaviti sa svjetlinom trake, a i zvuk će sigurno biti izmjenjen. Pada mi na pamet ideja s audio jack spliterom, pa jedan kraj na LED traku drugi u zvučnike, kako bi zvuk ostao čist. Provjerite isplati li se komplicirati toliko (za svaku boju RGB trake je potrebno raditi takav sklop).
