Saving image files to SD card on Inkplate

Customer:

I’m working on a research project involving printing documents directly and wirelessly to one or multiple Inkplates. For this, I need to download and save image files to the SD card on the Inkplate. I couldn’t find any function in the provided library for writing to the SD card - there seems to only be a function available to read from the SD card, not to write files to it.

I can get a pointer to the buffer where image data downloaded via display.downloadFile() is stored, but I’m having trouble writing the data from that buffer into a file via SdFat in a way that produces a valid image file.

Direct recording of the received image via downloadFile is not possible.

Please try this example which is part of the Inkplate library: https://github.com/e-radionicacom/Inkplate-Arduino-library/blob/master/examples/Inkplate6/Advanced_Inkplate_Features/Inkplate_SD_TXT_File/Inkplate_SD_TXT_File.ino
