TXS0104 breakout board: bidirectionality and maximum current per pin

Customer:

I am interested in using the TXS0104 breakout board for level conversion between a Raspberry Pi (3.3V logic) and a stepper motor that requires 5V logic inputs. Is this device bi-directional in the voltage shifts? Additionally, what is the max current per pin on this level shifter (or recommended max for continuous operation)?

Soldered Support:

The TXS0104 is bidirectional, so it will work for your application. The maximum current per pin is 100mA, as shown on page 7 of the datasheet: https://soldered.com/productdata/2022/03/Soldered_txs0104e_datasheet.pdf
