Customer:
I found an old e-reader with an ED060SC7 display. Is it possible to buy an Inkplate board without the display? Or is there another way to connect this display to an ESP32?

Soldered Support:
Inkplate is only sold as a complete product with both the PCB and e-paper display. E-paper is complex to drive because it requires a power supply with different voltages, which needs a dedicated IC. Additionally, the ESP32 does not have enough pins to directly drive e-paper—you must use an IO expander. This makes it difficult to connect an e-paper display without the integrated Inkplate solution, as e-paper requires additional supporting components to function properly.
