Soldered Support:
Using Inkplate as a display for a Linux distro is quite ambitious, seeing as it’s powered through ESP32. What you could do is run a small Linux computer (for example, a Raspberry Pi) and connect its UART (or even just a USB cable) to Inkplate and flash the peripheral mode sketch to Inkplate. This allows you to send data to be displayed from this small computer, but you would have to implement what exactly gets displayed and when. So it’s not necessarily a plug-and-play monitor type solution, but it’s possible to use Inkplate as a peripheral display for a Linux system.
