I purchased a Croduino beginner set several years ago, which is essentially an Arduino UNO. It worked fine on Windows XP or Windows 7. Now I’m using Windows 10 64-bit, and after installing Arduino IDE 2.2.1, I get an error when uploading: ‘Avrdude: Stk500_recv(): Programmer Is Not Responding’. How do I set up the Arduino UNO on Windows 10?

Poštovani, 2016.gosine kod vas sam kupio croduino set za početnika – mislim da je to u stvari arduino uno (operater na računu piše [name removed]).
Tada sam imao računalo s xp operacisjkim sustavom (ili win 7), malo sam probao i sve je uredno radilo.
Sada imam win 10, 64 bitna verzija i poslije instalacije arduino ide 2.2.1 kod uploada programa dobivam grešku ‘Avrdude: Stk500_recv(): Programmer Is Not Responding’
MOlio bih upute ako imate kako na win 10 instalirati arduino uno

After installing the drivers, I can see in Device Manager under ‘Ports (COM and LPT)’ an entry called ‘Silicon Labs CP210x USB to Uart Bridge (COM5)’. In Arduino IDE I selected: - port: COM5 - board: Arduino UNO. But I still get the same error: ‘avrdude: stk500_recv(): programmer is not responding’ and the upload fails with exit status 1.

Good, the COM port appeared - that’s the correct port for uploading. The issue is with the board definition. Don’t select Arduino UNO; instead, select Croduino Basic 2.

Follow these steps:
- Go to “Preferences” (Postavke): In Arduino IDE, select “File” (Datoteka), then “Preferences” (Postavke)
- Add the URL for Board Manager: In the “Preferences” window, find the section “Additional Board Manager URLs” (Dodatni URL-ovi Upravitelja ploča). Paste the URL I provided above
- Go to “Board Manager” (Upravitelj ploča): Close the “Preferences” window and go to “Tools” (Alati) > “Board” (Ploča) > “Boards Manager…” (Upravitelj ploča…)
- Install the board: In “Board Manager”, search for Croduino Basic 2 and click install
- Select the board: After installation, go to “Tools” (Alati) > “Board” (Ploča) and select it
You should now be able to upload code. Try this and let us know if it works or if there are further issues.

super što se pojavio COM port, to je taj port na koji treba uploadati. Onda je riječ o tome da nije taj Arduino board definition, to jest, ne treba izabrati Arduino UNO već Croduino Basic 2.
Uspio sam pronaći ovaj link gdje se nalazi arhivirano Croduino board definition (proizvod je umirovljen ali trebao bi svejedno raditi):
