Customer:

I want to build this project (Tipping Bucket Rain Gauge | Arduino Project Hub) but I have no experience with Arduino. Can I build it with a Croduino Basic 3 instead?

I see you sell most of the components listed in the project, except for a single turn potentiometer. Could I use the digital potentiometer you sell for the same purpose in this project?

Želim napraviti ovaj projekt ali pošto nemam nikakvog iskustva sa arduinom, zanima me da li se isto može napraviti i sa vašim cruduino basic 3 uređajem?

Vidim da prodajete većinu stvari koje su navedene pod components and supplies osim “single turn potentiometer”, pa me zanima da li se u istu svrhu u okviru ovog projekta može iskoristiti i ovaj digital potentiometer [easy c] koji prodajete?

Croduino Basic 3 is Arduino-compatible, which means it can do the same things as an Arduino Nano or Arduino UNO. Since the project uses Arduino Nano, our Croduino will work for it.

You can use the digital potentiometer you mentioned, but you would need to control it from the Croduino through code, which could be difficult if you’re just starting with programming. We have two conventional potentiometers in stock that would work better. You might want to use one of the conventional potentiometers first, and then add the digital potentiometer later as an upgrade to the project.

Croduino Basic 3 je kompatibilna pločica s Arduinom što znači da može iste stvari kao i Arduino Nano ili Arduino UNO. Kako vidim u projektu se koristi Arduino Nano tako da će naš Croduino odgovarati. Za potenciometar možete koristiti digitalni potenciometar koji ste naveli ali onda će te njega morati kontrolirati putem Croduina što bi mogao biti problem ako ste tek počeli s programiranjem. Možda je bolje staviti jedan od dva navedena potenciometra pa kasnije dodati digitalni kao nadogradnju projekta.
