Dasduino Core ATmega328P bootloader not programmed

Customer:

I recently assembled the DIY Dasduino Core and the ATmega328P doesn’t appear to have a bootloader. The Arduino IDE can’t transfer any project to it, even with the correct board selected. The LED blinks on the board and the device appears in COM ports, but uploads fail.

Soldered Support:

The bootloader may not have been burned during manufacturing. You can burn the bootloader via USB using the “Burn bootloader” function in the Arduino IDE.
