I’m working on a diploma project and need to know the memory capacity of the ESP8266 chip to determine if I can host a web server on it or if I need external memory.
Zanima me memorije li ima chip da procjenim stane li mi web server na njega ili trebam eksternu memoriju dodavat.

The ESP8266 is no longer being stocked. For your project, I’d recommend Dasduino CONNECTPLUS instead. This microcontroller is better - you can easily upload code to it via USB. The ESP8266 would require flashing AT commands firmware first and other setup steps before it could work. An ESP32 web server runs on the CONNECTPLUS without any issues. It’s much better for project development and will save you time and frustration.
Mislim da nećemo više imati esp8266, preporučujem da za projekt koristiš Dasduino CONNECTPLUS. Ovaj mikroupravljač je bolji i možeš lagano na njega uploadati kod preko USBa, ESP8266 bi trebao prvo flashati AT commands firmware i onda raditi još drugih stvari kako bi mogao raditi. Na CONNECTPLUS stane ESP32 web server bez problema. Mislim da je puno bolje za izradu projekta i sačuvat će puno vremena i glavobolje
