Ethernet Shield W5100 ICSP connector pinout with Croduino

Customer:

I received an Ethernet Shield W5100 and need to activate it. According to SPI communication rules, the internet module connects to Croduino this way:

3 - SCK
12 - MISO
11 - MOSI
10 - SS(CS)

However, on the ICSP connector schematic we don’t have an SS(CS) pin, only RESET. Could you send me the schematic for connecting the internet module to Croduino, as I’m not sure about this.

The ICSP connector has 6 pins - is pin 1 marked with a dot?

Do you have a male ICSP connector? I would order it next time.

Pouzećem sam dobio Ethernet Shield W5100 i

sada ga trebam aktivirati.

Prema pravilu SPI komunikacije internet

modul se spaja sa croduinom na ovaj način:

Međutim , na shemi ICSP konektora nemamo

SS(CS) izvod, već RESET. Molio bi da mi pošaljete shemu priključka

internet modula -croduino, jer ovako nisam

siguran.

broj 1 označen sa točkom?

Da li imate muški ICSP konektor , njega ću

Soldered Support:

Pin 1 is marked with a dot on the top side. You do not connect SS(CS) from the ICSP connector. You do not need to connect RESET on the ICSP to anything.

The three pins from ICSP are: SCK, MISO, MOSI. Additionally use the standard pins: +5V, GND, and connect pin 10 and pin 4 between Croduino and Shield (these are the CS pins for Ethernet and SD card).

We don’t have a male ICSP connector, but you can make one yourself from a male header.

poslao sam Vam mail jučer u vezi shielda, vjerujem da ste ga vidjeli.
Što se tiče spajanja, tako je, izvod 1 označen je točkom s gornje strane. SS(CS) ne spajate s ICSP konektora. RESET na ICSP-u ne morate spojiti ni sa čime.
Dakle, tri pina s ICSP: SPI, MISO, MOSI, a putem standardnih pinova još: +5V, gnd, te međusobno povežite pinove broj 10 i 4 između Croduina i Shielda(to je CS pinovi za Ethernet i SD karticu).

To get the code for Croduino WebServer, open Arduino and go to File → Examples → Ethernet → WebServer in the menu.
