HC-SR501 motion sensor triggering LED erratically on Croduino

Customer:

I connected the HC-SR501 motion sensor to a Croduino and it’s not reading motion correctly. The sensor should turn on an LED when it detects motion, but the LED keeps turning on and off by itself. Could the problem be that the USB voltage from the laptop/computer is too low, or is something else wrong?

Spojila sam senzor pokreta HC-SR501 na Croduino i neće da pravilno očitava pokrete. Senzor bi prilikom očitanja signala trebao paliti LEDicu, međutim LEDica se pali i gasi sama od sebe. Dali bi problem mogao biti u tome što je napon USBa s laptopa/računala malen ili je u nečemu drugome stvar?

The HC-SR501 sensor has two potentiometers on it for adjusting sensitivity and the distance at which the sensor responds. Try adjusting them to calibrate the sensor for your specific use case.
