HX711 with EasyC: programming ATtiny404 with custom scale code

Customer:

I have the HX711 with EasyC board. I was hoping to program the ATtiny404 with some scale code, but after looking at the documentation it appears this may not be possible, as the 404 is used for some of the HX711 functions. Is there a way to do this, or are there other documents or code that would allow the ATtiny404 to be used this way?

Soldered Support:

The easyC boards have firmware on the microcontroller which does the measuring instead of the main microcontroller and transmits the data via I2C. Here’s the default firmware for the ATtiny: Soldered-HX711-ADC-For-Weight-Scales-Arduino-Library/extras/attiny_firmware at dev · SolderedElectronics/Soldered-HX711-ADC-For-Weight-Scales-Arduino-Library · GitHub

You can write your own custom code there and add the functionality you want, with the ATtiny pre-scaling the values you measure. You will then read those values on the microcontroller side using the easyC HX711 driver.

Alternatively, if you see how the data is sent (packed uint32_t: Soldered-HX711-ADC-For-Weight-Scales-Arduino-Library/extras/attiny_firmware/attiny_firmware.ino at 63d63ca2730c71b8cdfa154e9c5c385eeb13d14d · SolderedElectronics/Soldered-HX711-ADC-For-Weight-Scales-Arduino-Library · GitHub) you can write your own driver on the microcontroller side.
