Inkplate 10 compatibility with higher-capacity 4000-6000mAh batteries

Customer:

I’m interested in an Inkplate 10 and would like to use a larger battery than the standard option. I have two questions about the 4000-6000mAh batteries:

  1. Are they compatible with the Inkplate 10 in general? Is the 3000mAh battery the same one shipped with the battery option?

  2. Will the 4000-6000mAh batteries fit inside the Inkplate 10 enclosure?

Soldered Support:

Yes, those batteries will work well with Inkplate. The JST connector is compatible.

They won’t fit the enclosure as-is. However, you can modify the enclosure’s STL file to expand the battery holder or remove it entirely. The enclosure files are available to help you customize it for a larger battery.
