Customer:
I’ve tried all the examples in the Arduino IDE to get the Inkplate 10 to function but the display doesn’t respond. The code compiles and uploads successfully, and I can communicate over the serial port, but the display itself never changes.
I ran code with:
display.clearDisplay();
display.display(true);
But I don’t see any flickering on the display.
The basic hello world example output:
rst:Testing Inkplate…
Wavefrom load failed! Upload new waveform
I tried the waveform upload example, but the screen never showed the different shades. I can’t find any similar issues online and I’m not sure how to troubleshoot further.

Soldered Support:
Try switching your board definition. If you’re using e-Radionica Inkplate 10, switch to Soldered Inkplate 10, and vice versa.
Customer:
I’ve seen the documentation refer to a distinction between “e-Radionica Inkplate 10” and “Soldered Inkplate 10”, but that’s not what I’m seeing in the Arduino library board options. Neither option refers to “e-Radionica” or “Soldered” in the title. I installed the “Inkplate Boards” package following the documentation, so I can’t follow your suggestion without more specific instructions.

Soldered Support:
Follow these instructions to add the correct .json file so you can install the right board definitions. The Inkplate boards package 1.0.1 that’s appearing is outdated - the latest version is Inkplate boards 8.1.0.
The older board definitions would be labeled “e-Radionica” (our old company name), while the current ones are “Soldered”. Following the README in those instructions should let you install the correct Inkplate boards and get started.
