Customer:
I’m using Inkplate 10 for development. After carrying it while travelling, the screen was pressed and now has some marks on it. It’s no longer displaying any new content, although the back lights still turn on when plugged in and there’s no visible damage. What can I do to fix this?

Soldered Support:
It’s possible the flat cable got a bit disconnected. You can try reconnecting it. This is safe to do, but keep in mind to not bend the cable—it’s delicate.
Here’s how to do it:
- Turn off Inkplate 10 completely
- Turn the device around and locate the flat cable connector
- Carefully pull the tabs on the connector up
- Remove the flat cable and then re-insert it
- Pull the tabs down and make sure the connection is secure
- Try uploading the basic example sketch (basic black and white)
Let me know how this works for you.
