Can anyone help with this query please.
The RTC battery socket on the back of the Inkplate 10 (I have uploaded a jpg) has two spring clips. The right hand spring clip looks like it should be on the negative side of the CR2032 battery, when inserted, and the left hand clip on the positive side. But, looking at the picture, there are two tiny symbols in the top left and bottom right of the socket, a “+” and a “-”. These symbols appear to contradict the way the battery should be inserted. Any clues? Thanks.

Thanks for reaching out, we’re here to help! I am not able to see the .jpegs in our new community forum interface, where did you upload them? But either way I can reply to your question. On Inkplate’s RTC holder the + goes on top top and the - side goes on the bottom of the battery and looks bent ‘upwards’ because it pushes the battery upwards, having the + side secure it in place.
