I don’t think I explained myself too well.
I understand about the top of the battery being positive, I was referring to the spring clips either side of the connector.
Looking down on the socket there are two sets of spring clips.
I assume the left-hand clips go on top of the battery and the right-hand clips on the underside?
Would that be correct?
