I connected the device and changed the baud rate, but I could not find the serial monitor. The screen won’t respond when I click on the power button, though the device is recognized by the computer.

Can you power the Inkplate and record a video of what happens? Does the Inkplate refresh the screen?
Customer:
Adding the video.

Soldered Support:
Please try to use Arduino IDE and open the Serial monitor. You can also upload new code to the Inkplate to see what happened.
Because the display doesn’t update, you can try to clean the display connector. On the back side you can find a flat cable that is connected to the connector.
