Inkplate-10 USB-C connector may damage third-party power supplies

Customer:

The USB-C connector may have a bad configuration for USB-C power supply adaptors available on the market. I tried to use the power supply that came with my Dell laptop that is powering the laptop through a USB-C connector. The supply internal fuse opened when I connected it to the Inkplate-10. The Inkplate-10 seems to be working well after that incident. I’m concerned this could cause damage to other devices that lack the same level of protection.

Soldered Support:

We have identified a mistake in design for configuration pins which might cause this. We have made changes and are testing in more detail. We will also investigate why the fuse opened.
