Inkplate 10 WiFi examples cause heap corruption and reboot loop

Customer:

My Inkplate 10 won’t run the example programs that contain WiFi. The only modification I made to the examples is to add my WiFi info. I’ve tried programming it from two different computers with the same result. It boots up then crashes, then cycles between booting and crashing.

Customer:

I installed Inkplate library version 5.7.0 from the master branch and have the same problem. Any other ideas?

Soldered Support:

Could you please share the exact example you are using so we can test it and check for any issue with the example?

Customer:

None of the examples that use WiFi work. The only changes I made are to add WiFi authentication details and, if needed, API key. I found that older versions of the Inkplate library work. Versions 4.0 and 5.0 work but the most current does not.

Soldered Support:

We have fixed WiFi issues on the Inkplate. Please download the new updated Inkplate library and try it.

Customer:

The new library has fixed the rebooting issue. I haven’t tested it thoroughly yet but it appears to be working now.
