Customer:
I received 2 Inkplate 2 units from the Kickstarter. One worked with the example projects for about half a day, then the screen went white and stopped responding. The ESP32 still receives the program and reacts in the serial monitor, but the display shows no sign of life. The second unit appears to be working correctly. What should I do?

Soldered Support:
Since one Inkplate 2 is working as intended - uploading code and changing the screen - while the other isn’t, this suggests your Arduino IDE, Inkplate board definitions and library are configured properly.
The issue is likely a loose flat cable connector, which can come loose during shipping.
To fix it:
- Disconnect Inkplate 2 completely.
- Detach the flat cable holder by gently pulling on the catch/release mechanism on both sides, one at a time, in the noted direction.
- Take the flat cable out, keeping in mind to bend it as little as possible.
- Connect it back together and secure with the mechanism. Make sure the connection is solid.
- Upload the Black White Red example.
The example should change the screen. Let us know if this works.
