Inkplate 4 TEMPERA touchscreen init fail error

Customer:

I have an Inkplate 4 TEMPERA and while I can get the non-touchscreen programs to work, for touchscreen programs I’m getting this error: Touchscreen init fail

Any suggestions for how to troubleshoot?

Soldered Support:

The touchscreen on Inkplate 4 TEMPERA should always be able to initialize. Does your model have the glass panel or not?

Could you please skip the check of tsInit and check if the touchscreen works regardless? This will help us determine where the issue is.
