Inkplate 5 battery voltage stuck at 0.28V

Customer:

I purchased an Inkplate 5 a few months back and have been using it happily. A few weeks ago I noticed that the voltage readout of the li-ion battery seems to be stuck at 0.28V. I tried reflashing the Inkplate with a basic readout script but got the same result. The battery is definitely being charged properly as the whole system wouldn’t work at such a low voltage, and it lasts weeks at a time. I don’t have a voltage meter available.

Are you using Arduino or Micropython?

Could you try re-connecting the battery physically to the device? Check if it looks normal and it’s not puffed up. Try reading the voltage without the battery and then plug it back in and then read the voltage. This might be a simple fix.
