Inkplate 5 Gen2 power button bypass and CAD model location

Customer:

I’m working on a sealed device using the Inkplate 5 Gen2 and have two questions:

  1. I need to seal the device but currently have to lift the lid every time to press the power button. Is there a way to make the Inkplate power on automatically whenever it receives power, bypassing the manual button press?

  2. Do you have a CAD model of the Inkplate 5 Gen2 board itself (not the case) so I can design an accurate seal around it?

Soldered Support:

You can bypass the power button by soldering a bridge on the PCB. This will make the Inkplate power on automatically whenever it receives power.

The CAD model is available in the hardware repository. Check the 3D step file here:
