Soldered Support:

To help diagnose the issue, can you gather some data via Serial to find out what’s causing the boot loop? Try writing the error code returned by the function to the display so we can see what it means.

Does the boot loop happen quickly after startup or does it take a while? If it happens quickly, it could be a power issue. If it takes longer, it could be a WiFi connection issue.

To better help diagnose this, I’ll need:

  1. Your initialization code (where it gets stuck)
  2. Which model of Inkplate you have (Soldered Inkplate or e-Radionica Inkplate)

We have tested Inkplates with battery for many projects both with and without WiFi, and they typically work fine, so I’m interested in understanding what’s different in your setup.
