Customer:
WiFi does not work on my Inkplate 6 COLOR. It works well with my Inkplate 10, but with the 6 COLOR device no connection is possible. Do you have any advice or would a replacement help?

Soldered Support:
Let me do some diagnostics. WiFi is built into the ESP32 microcontroller, so there are no moving parts to fail. I think we can diagnose what’s wrong and get it working.
Run the example sketch Inkplate6COLOR_HTTP_Request. Open the Serial monitor at 112500 baud to see info messages so we can see where it gets stuck.
Make sure you type the WiFi SSID and password correctly - they are case sensitive.
If possible, make a mobile hotspot and try to connect to that, or try a different router.
Let me know how this works.

I have experience with my old Inkplate and studied computer science. The examples run well on my Inkplate 10. Here’s the log as requested:

Some basic examples work fine. The Mandelbrot example does a reset after some time without displaying anything.
Soldered Support:
The log you sent can only be fully decoded with the ESP exception decoder, which is built into Inkplate’s core and can be accessed through Arduino. The reset cause shown is POWERON_RESET, which is normal behaviour.
What I was mainly looking for are the Serial prints from the example sketch to show if we can connect over WiFi and get data over the internet. Does the Inkplate6COLOR_HTTP_Request example work on your Inkplate 6 COLOR?
Here is the full path to the example (you can also find it in Arduino under examples):
examples/Inkplate6COLOR/Advanced/WEB_WiFi/Inkplate6COLOR_HTTP_Request
This sketch prints dots (…) until it’s connected, and when successfully connected to WiFi, it prints connected. It will also display HTML code of an example website on the Inkplate display to test the connection.
Make sure to enter the WiFi credentials before uploading the code to the board.
You mentioned some basic examples work - do any of them get data over WiFi? If so, this would indicate that WiFi does work and that it’s a code/software issue.
