Inkplate 6 current version and touchpad support

Customer:

I’ve been reviewing the GitHub repository and your website. I have two questions:

  1. The GitHub documentation shows Inkplate 6 with touchpads (v1 was sold between September 2020 and January 2021), but the product images in your shop show a different board layout without space for touchpads, and the product descriptions don’t mention touchpads. Are touchpads 1-2-3 still included in the current products?

  2. I found references to forum.e-radionica.com but that site appears to have disappeared. I don’t see any forum on the soldered.com domain. Has the forum been discontinued, or am I looking in the wrong place?

You may be looking at the older repository. For v2, see GitHub - SolderedElectronics/Soldered-Inkplate-6-hardware-design: Hardware design, BOM, gerbers and 3D files for Soldered-Inkplate-6 designed by Soldered Electronics. · GitHub . The newer version of Inkplate 6 is called ‘Soldered Inkplate6’ and is the currently active model being sold. This version does not have touchpads—we no longer make them with touchpads. The forum is still a work-in-progress and we’re working on it.
