Inkplate 6 e-paper panel TPS Fail error on serial output

Customer:

I measured the voltage between GND to 3.3V and VIN. When the device is switched off I get 1.56V. When the device is on I get 3.27V on the 3.3V and 4.64V on VIN.

Those voltages look good. The problem is with the e-paper panel or the circuit that drives it. We will send test code to help diagnose the issue.

Upload this test code to the Inkplate board, open the Serial monitor, and report what messages appear.

Customer:

The only response I get back from the board is “TPS Fail!” If that chip is what I think it is then this doesn’t look easily fixable.

That IC provides different voltages for the e-paper panel. It is not easily fixable because you must remove the e-paper panel from the board before soldering.
