I purchased an Inkplate 6 Flick ePaper display and want to use it in peripheral mode with a Raspberry Pi 5. I found the example program on Github (GitHub - SolderedElectronics/Inkplate-Peripheral-Mode-Raspberry-Pi-Example: Some example code for how to drive Inkplate with a Raspberry Pi using peripheral mode · GitHub) and the documentation (Inkplate Peripheral Mode — Inkplate docs documentation) with the necessary commands. I can get a basic display working, but I’m unable to enable the frontlight or perform a partial refresh. Can you help me with this? Perhaps with an example program that uses these functions?

The peripheral mode example needs an update as it currently only provides limited functionality. These features may not have been fully tested. Try re-downloading the peripheral mode example for the 6FLICK. Pay attention to this code line in the example: the command is “m” as described in the documentation. Partial refresh should also work once the example has been recompiled and uploaded to the 6FLICK. Try again after re-uploading the example. If it still doesn’t work, you could try debugging the issue yourself. The frontlight functions appear to be correctly implemented. Let me know if you can get it working this way.
