Inkplate 6 JST connector type and ESP-IDF library support

Customer:

Which JST connector is it? I’m assuming XH 2.50 from pictures, but could you please specify it in the description? I’m still not sure what battery to buy.

Also, very interested in a library for esp-idf. Inkplate 6 is out for a while, but no library in sight…

Soldered Support:

Yes, it’s JST-XH with 2 pins, pitch 2.5mm. For Inkplate 6, ESP-IDF was never promised. All focus, ESP-IDF-wise, is on Inkplate 10 at the moment. We’ll try our best and provide Inkplate 6 ESP-IDF support, but cannot promise when.
