Customer:
I’d like to mount the Inkplate 6 outdoors. Has anybody designed a waterproof case that I could purchase? Also, how would the screen hold up if it were exposed to heat and cold?

E-paper panels do not work well when the temperature changes. At lower temperatures the panel needs more time to clear the picture and you will have ghosting on the panel. At higher temperatures the panel needs less time and a picture can be burned into the panel. You can use it in outdoor conditions but may experience problems with the panel if it is subject to temperature changes.
We did not design a waterproof case for Inkplate. The standard case is not waterproof because it has many holes for the USB connector, button, SD card holder, and other components.
