Inkplate 6 PCB and display compatibility with Kindle Touch

Customer:

I discovered Inkplate 6 and that you recycle screens from old Kindle readers. I have an old Kindle Touch I’m not using and want to convert it into a personal dashboard. Does Soldered sell an Inkplate 6 without a screen so I can reuse the one from my Kindle? I’m looking for just the PCBs with pre-soldered components. If that’s not available, can you point me to where I could print the PCB and buy components to make my own? I’m in Europe.

The Inkplate 6 is compatible with displays ED060SC4.

Customer:

Can I purchase the Inkplate 6 PCB on your website? I couldn’t find it. Also, I haven’t disassembled my Kindle Touch yet. Can you provide more information about what display the Inkplate needs? I’m not sure if my ereader display will be compatible.

Soldered Support:

The PCB is not available on the webshop, but a sales quote can be issued. The display you need is ED060SC4 (not ECD060SC4). This should help you determine if your Kindle reader display is compatible.
