Does the InkPlate 6 have a pin that can power a WS2812B Smart LED Stick10? If so, which pin would it be?
Original message (Croatian)

Soldered Support:
The WS2812B Stick10 requires 5V to operate. On the InkPlate 6, you can connect power to the VIN pin, which carries voltage from either USB or the battery depending on how you power the board. If the device is powered by battery, you may experience issues with the WS2812B LEDs when the battery voltage drops below a certain level.
You can also try connecting the Data pin directly to an ESP32 pin, but it may not work correctly. In that case, you will need a logic level converter to convert the voltage level from 3.3V to the VIN pin voltage level. WS2812B LEDs have a logic “1” voltage threshold very close to 3.3V, and depending on the supply voltage (which can vary between 5V and 4.5V), they sometimes work when the Data pin is connected directly to the ESP32 microcontroller, and sometimes they don’t work properly and require a logic level converter.

Does the microcontroller have the ability to detect whether USB (as an external power source) is connected?

Soldered Support:
The microcontroller does not have USB detection capability. On the InkPlate there are free pins from the GPIO expander or from the ESP32, and it is possible to create a simple voltage divider and connect it to the microcontroller to monitor the voltage on the USB line and thereby determine when power is supplied via USB and when it is not.

Mikrokontroler nema mogućnost detekcije USB-a.
