Customer:
I have another question about the Inkplate 6: I’m happy with the current display and want to attach it to a wall. A micro USB plug on the right would stand out of the enclosure, which I find ugly. Is there a way to power the display with 5V from the back? Where would I have to solder 5V and GND to?

Yes, you can connect the 5V and GND to the pads at the back side of the board. They are marked as “GND” and “VIN”. When the board is flipped to the backside, they are at the right-hand side.

Can you tell me how many milliamperes the display needs at maximum? I use the WiFi but not the charger of the battery.

There are very large peaks for changing the screen contents, but they are very short. A 5V 500mA power source should be enough.
