Inkplate 6 reboots after deep sleep with battery

Customer:

I’ve been using an Inkplate 6 since December 2020 and recently ordered a battery. However, when I run the Inkplate with the battery, it reboots immediately after going to deep sleep. This appears to match the issue described at Unexpected behavior under battery only · Issue #56 · SolderedElectronics/Inkplate-Arduino-library · GitHub. How can I get a replacement?

Soldered Support:

This is a known issue that affects some of the older Inkplate batches. Rather than shipping the board back and forth, would you be able to hand-solder a capacitor to fix it? I’ll give it a try. My soldering skills are a bit rusty, but I should be able to get the capacitor next week and attempt the repair.
