Customer:
I’m having issues with the touch pads on Inkplate 6. Using the example code, PAD2 and PAD3 are always detected as depressed, but PAD1 is never detected as pressed. I tested at the jumper location and found PAD2 and PAD3 are at 3.3V but PAD1 is at 0V. Also, the CHRG LED does not work.

Soldered Support:
The touch pads are capacitive, so they are probably charged, which is why they don’t work. You need to discharge them. You can do this by touching them with one hand while touching the top of the ESP32 with the other hand. Make sure the Inkplate is turned off while you do that.
The CHRG LED only works when charging the battery. If the battery is fully charged, the LED will be off.
