Soldered Support:
We’re currently producing Inkplate 6 version two, which has some differences from the version you likely have. The main changes are the power switch, USB-C port instead of microUSB, and similar details. You’ll probably need to modify your housing somewhat. We can send more details if needed.

hvala na upitu. Vi vjerojatno imate Inkplate 6 verziju 1, dok sada proizvodimo verziju dva. Ima nekakvih razlika, prvenstveno u prekidaču za paljenje, USB-C port umjesto microUSB i takvi detalji. Morat ćete vjerojatno malo izmijeniti kučište. Možemo poslati više detalja ako bude trebalo.

We use these for parking terminals and we’ve already invested in designing the front panel and terminal hardware based on your information from last year that the design wouldn’t change drastically. Please send me the technical details of the dimensions.

Soldered Support:
The display size is the same. The mounting holes are the same. The serial protocol and communication are the same. You shouldn’t have problems with implementing the boards. These are all the changes from v1.0 to v2.3, which is currently being produced:
- USB-C port instead of micro USB
- Power switch is now in a form of a pushbutton
- Wake-up/user-programmable LED
- Power LED, can be turned off with an onboard switch
- RTC onboard, based on PCF85063
- better VCOM compatibility with panels
- other DFM improvements
We’ll be posting the new open-source files from which you’ll be able to extract all the information. I can also check whether we might still have some old versions in stock that we could send you. We’ll let you know tomorrow.
