Customer:
I installed MicroPython and ran the basic example. When I call display = Inkplate(Inkplate.INKPLATE_1BIT), I get an SD card could not be read error. Do I need an SD card for the display to work? If so, what size and speed do you recommend?

Soldered Support:
Inkplate 6COLOR does not have modes like 1bit or 3bit, it always works in the same mode. Please check the basic example in the repository: https://github.com/SolderedElectronics/Inkplate-micropython/blob/master/Examples/Inkplate6COLOR/basicCOLOR.py
You do not need an SD card. The data which Inkplate needs to display can be programmed in its memory in the Python script using text, shapes, pictures, etc. Check the other examples for some possibilities.
