Customer:
The touchscreen on my Inkplate 6PLUS has stopped functioning. I’m having trouble tracking down what parts are necessary to replace it. Where can I obtain a replacement for the capacitive touchscreen?

Soldered Support:
The touchscreen panel itself is model ED060XH7. Before considering replacement, try re-connecting the flat cables for the display and the touch connector.
Here’s the procedure:
- Locate the connectors on the board. The latches holding down the flat cable connectors are marked in the guide.
- Gently pull in the marked directions to undo the latches holding the connectors down.
- Carefully pull out the flat cable connectors - they are sensitive to creasing.
- Re-insert the connectors in the same order and position.
- Pull back the latches securely. Make sure each connector is inserted all the way.
- Test the basic touchscreen functionalities.
Let me know if this resolves the issue.

I have tried this with no change. If it is not otherwise easily reparable, I’ll repurpose the board for something else.
