Customer:

Is it possible to make partial refresh updates to the screen to allow an increased update rate for characters - for example in a timer display? Can one update regions of the screen without making the entire display flash every time?

Soldered Support:

It is possible to make a partial refresh but after some time you must do a full refresh, or the screen can be damaged. With the partial update, you change only one part of a picture on display and it is faster than full refresh.
