Inkplate e-ink panel not securely attached to PCB

Customer:

I received my Inkplate unit and discovered that the e-ink panel was not securely attached to the PCB. It was mounted with double-sided tape but the tape was not holding the glass panel to the board. What should I do to re-attach the glass? Is there a special adhesive I should or should not use?

Soldered Support:

Early batches of Inkplate had an issue where the double-sided tape wasn’t strong enough. Reattach the screen using another double-sided tape and test it to check if everything works. There’s no need to use a special kind of tape - any double-sided tape will work. This issue has been fixed in later batches with better tape and reinforced packaging.
