I have a question about the difference in how partialUpdate works between BW and GREYSCALE modes. There’s flicker in greyscale mode but not in black/white mode. Is it theoretically possible to do partial updates so that existing content isn’t flickering? The BW mode seems to send a delta update per pixel. Could the same be achieved for greyscale?
Also, if I remembered the area to update, would it be possible to do a limited screen refresh for only a set of scan lines or a rectangle?
Regarding SWD: it works for uploading and debugging with some issues. It would have been great if NRST had been exposed as a pin header. I’m using an ST-LINK2 from an STM32 nucleo dev board, which also allows for adding that reset pin. I have had issues with the Arduino debugger not consistently being able to attach to the program at start. You may want to consider adding that for a subsequent revision.
I have added LVGL on top of the Adafruit GFX drawPixel() API. This works, but I’ll be looking to do some more efficient bulk memory copying.
