Inkplate shows microSD card slot test FAIL on startup

Customer:

I received my Inkplate back and switched it on. It immediately printed “microSD card slot test FAIL!” and does not respond to the echo command in peripheral mode. What should I do?

Soldered Support:

The test code was left on the ESP32 microcontroller. The Inkplate was tested before shipping, and you would not have that code if it hadn’t been tested.

Program the Inkplate with the Peripheral Mode example to fix this.
