How does Inkplate set up as a webserver? Are we talking a MQTT server?

Soldered Support:

In the example provided with the Inkplate library, Inkplate is set up as a basic HTTP server. That is a basic example of the HTTP server; if you need other functionality you can implement it on Inkplate.

Could I run a MQTT server on it?

Soldered Support:

We never tried to run the MQTT server on Inkplate but we ran the HTTP server. You could try to run the MQTT server; it should work because it works on ESP. The only problem can be with memory.
