Customer:
I’m confused about the power requirements for this LCD board. The board itself says it uses 5V, but I found a page saying it uses 3.3V. I’m not sure which is correct. The board seems to work for me, but I’m concerned I might have accidentally damaged it since I don’t know the correct voltage. Also, when I try to connect it to an ESP32, the code won’t transfer to the board. I installed a library from a website, but I’m not sure if it’s the right one.

Soldered Support:
The easyC boards have on-board automatic logic level and supply voltage translation, so they work with both 3.3V and 5V devices. It’s unlikely the board is damaged.
To help resolve the library and ESP32 connection issue, I need more details:
- Which exact product do you have?
- Which microcontroller are you using?
- How are you connecting them (easyC cable or I2C pins)?
- Which library are you currently using?
Our I2C LCD adapter uses a different IC, so the correct driver library is important.
Customer:
It was just the library. It works fine now.

Great! Our I2C LCD adapter uses a different IC so our driver must be used.
