I need to know if the Li-Ion Battery SKU 333283 would be a good replacement for my current battery. My existing battery is marked:

Likely it will work. The 3.7V matches, though I’m not certain what CY refers to - it could be a manufacturer marking.
First, confirm whether your existing battery is Li-Ion or Li-Po. The SKU 333283 is Li-Ion, and these types are not interchangeable.

Also, check the connector polarity carefully. On some devices, the connector polarity is flipped, which would short the battery. Verify that the red and black wires match between your existing battery and the SKU 333283. The polarity should be clearly labeled on your PCB or existing battery. If the polarity doesn’t match, you can cut the wires and re-solder them to flip the connector.
