Li-Ion Charger standalone operation without Arduino

Customer:

I have a Soldered Li-Ion Battery (3.7V/1800mA) for a toy car. Can I charge it with the Li-Ion Charger without any other components? I found information saying it needs an Arduino, but I’m not familiar with Arduino and need a simple solution. Is it possible to use this charger as a standalone unit without Arduino?

Soldered Support:

Yes, it is possible to charge using this charger as a standalone unit. The charger has the charging chip on-board, so the battery can be charged without additional components. Simply plug the charger into USB and connect the battery to the other end - the charger will automatically charge the battery until it’s full. The information about needing Arduino refers to the charger being compatible with Dasduino boards for integrated charging capability, not that Arduino is required for standalone charging.
