I want to know if it’s correct to connect a lithium battery to a charger and also connect a load in parallel with the battery. The idea is that the load is powered by the charger while there is mains voltage available, and in case of a power outage the load continues to be powered by the battery. Do I need some additional circuit to regulate all this, or can I simply connect the battery, charger and load in parallel?

Zanima me jeli ispravno litijsku bateriju spojiti na punjač i paralelno sa baterijom spojiti trošilo. Zamisao je da se trošilo napaja sa punjača dok ima napona na utičnici, a da se u slučaju nestanka struje trošilo nastavi napajati iz baterije. Je li tu potreban neki dodatni sklop koji će to sve regulirati ili mogu bateriju, punjač i trošilo jednostavno spojiti paralelno ?

In theory that should be fine. However, whether it will work depends on the charger and the load, because the charger may not be able to provide the current the load requires.
The charger is designed to charge the battery at, for example, 500mA, while the load may require 1.5A to operate. If the charger can provide 1.5A to the load, then the circuit will work. However, you must make sure you don’t charge the battery with that current, because it will likely be too high.
If the battery and charger can provide much greater current than what the load draws, then you should be fine.

u teoriji Vam je to sve uredu. No hoće li Vam to raditi ovisi u punjaču i trošilu jer punjač možda ne može omogućiti potrebnu struju trošilu.
Punjač je predviđen da puni bateriju npr. 500mA dok je trošilu potrebno 1,5 A za rad. Ako punjač može dati 1,5 A trošilu onda će Vam sklop raditi. No onda morate pripaziti da s tom strujom ne punite bateriju jer je vrlo vjerojatno prevelika.
