I think https://micropythonos.com/ is a great playground and i always look to get stuff not from china… But it’s hard to get EU stuff, because there are only a few …
What i already found:
The unPhone:
The unPhone has been developed by Hamish Cunningham of the University of Sheffield’s Department of Computer Science in the Faculty of Engineering, in partnership with Pimoroni Ltd. and Gareth Coleman (of BitFIXit and Reyt Repair).
It’s open hardware and comes from UK. It’s nice, but very expensive (140GPB in UK or 200€ in Germany) and the case and display could use some improvement.
The SQUiXL device by “Unexpected Maker” from Australia: https://squixl.io better case and has a very nice Docking station (all 3D printed) … But also expensive ~130€ and shipping from Australia to EU is also not the best…
So, what i would like to see is some solution from Soldered 
… Every parts are already there. What i missed is some kind of ready-to-use or very easy to assemble … 3D print case or DIY 3D print file is okay…
