MPS20N0040D pressure sensor for low-pressure liquid level measurement

Customer:

I’m working on a final year project using Croduino to measure liquid level in a container. My plan is to use a pressure sensor to read the pressure via Arduino, then calculate the liquid height using a physics formula and display the level on an LCD screen. I found your pressure sensor, but concluded that its measurement range is too large for my needs. I need a range of approximately 0-5 kPa, possibly slightly higher, but not much more. Is this the only measurement range your pressure sensor offers? If so, do you have any similar sensors in stock that I haven’t found, or can you recommend other vendors or any information that might help?

Soldered Support:

Unfortunately, that is the only measurement range for that pressure sensor. We don’t have sensors that measure such low pressure.

The closest match is the MPS20N0040D (Soldered: Open-Source Electronics, Boards, Sensors & Modules – Soldered Electronics), which measures 0 to 40 kPa. You will need an operational amplifier for its use.

to je nažalost jedini mjerni opseg tog senzora tlaka. Mi nemamo senzore koji bi mjerili tako mali tlak.
